Art, or more specifically, drawing was an occasional hobby for Joshua from a young age.
However, he has not received formal teaching in Art of any kind since he was 16, instead choosing to focus on studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics, before completing a Chemistry degree.
Following this, Joshua became a high school Chemistry teacher and currently teaches Chemistry in the UK's largest school for deaf students.
Throughout his scientific studies Joshua continued to be interested in developing his artistic talent and in 2015 he decided to start trying his hand at producing humble works of art.
Joshua's first weapon of choice was a simple office ball-point pen which he used to sketch detailed black and white pieces.
In almost all of Joshua's art, one can observe his unique personal style and this has developed primarily because he was influenced far more by 90's cartoons, satirical newspaper comics and stylistic video games than by traditional art forms.
In recent times Joshua has worked hard to expand his skill set with both acrylic and watercolour paint.
Still, for him, nothing beats a good ol' fashioned ball-point pen, which is why you will often see a combination of paint and pen in his recent work.
